This year's competition included 78 companies that submitted 114 applications. Of these, 22 were nominated for Employer, 11 for Innovative Company, 19 for Socially Responsible Company, 16 for Startup, 13 for Green Company, the newest category in the Forbes Business Awards. 33 are the candidates for Company of the Year, where the awards are in the sectors "Finance", "Information and Communication Technologies", "Trade", "Manufacturing" and "Services".
